Unstoppable Women Awards and Scholarship Brunch

What a joy to honor a number of our Awards and Scholarship recipients for this year at our Unstoppable Women Brunch on May 10! This year, thanks to our generous community, sponsors and donors, we were able to present $54,000 in awards and scholarships to 26 women and girls who are working towards educational degrees, licenses, and certification programs to be able to achieve economic empowerment for themselves and their families. We heard of the amazing work they have been doing, the obstacles and challenges they have overcome, and the dreams they have for their future.

The words shared by one of the Live Your Dream Award recipients sums up what many of the women voiced: "This grant has been so much more than financial support; it has been a powerful reminder that strong, compassionate women believe in me and my journey. Soroptimist women are a shining example of what it means to lift others up, to support one another, and to never let go of the belief that women can and will change the world."
