High School Scholarships
Young women have dreams, even if they don’t have the means. Being “best for women” means ensuring deserving young women have resources to help them further their education, so they can realize the career of their dreams.
Soroptimist Oak Harbor offers high school scholarship to girls who are facing obstacles, such as illness/disability, language/cultural barriers, or poverty. To be considered for a scholarship an applicant must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Female gender identity

Graduating this school year from an accredited Oak Harbor high school, or any other accredited high school program within the boundaries of the Oak Harbor School District

Has overcome an obstacle or barrier in life

Grade point average of 2.3 or higher
-
Applied to, has been accepted to, is currently enrolled in a certificate or license program, or a trade school, or a two- or four-year college/university
How to apply

Applications will be accepted during the first quarter of the calendar year, and the successful recipients will be notified in April.
