Soroptimist Oak Harbor members recently dedicated their time at My Sister's Closet, hosting a special shopping event for CADA (Citizens Against Domestic and Sexual Abuse) clients. This meaningful activity marked the culmination of the club's #SoroptimistsUpliftHER initiative, designed to empower survivors of Intimate Partner Violence as they rebuild their lives and work toward financial independence.

The impact was immediately visible as women selected professional attire for interviews and workplace settings. One participant, emerging from the dressing room with her new wardrobe and tears in her eyes, expressed what the experience meant to her: "Thank you, this is a dream come true!" Through practical support and compassionate service, Oak Harbor Soroptimist continues its mission of helping women regain confidence and create pathways to economic empowerment.
