Helping Fight Period Poverty

Soroptimist Oak Harbor members were busy assembling period packs for women in need during a recent club meeting.

The activity wrapped up the club's focus in May/June 2025 on the issue of Period Poverty, which is the inability to afford or access feminine hygiene products , and included a presentation by Kate Mistler and the work of I Support the Girls - Whidbey Island, WA.

The packs will be provided to women and girls in need on Whidbey and nearby.
